This document applies only to the Harfiyen game.
By using Harfiyen, you agree to these terms. In short: the game is free and ad-free, runs entirely on your device, and no content is visible to other users within the app. Your optional name may appear only on a result card you choose to share.
You can also access these terms in the app under Settings → Legal and support → Terms of Use. The terms are accepted when the app is first opened; if the text changes materially, acceptance will be requested again.
Harfiyen is a word game in which a Turkish word is guessed each day. Alongside the daily puzzle, it has Free 5-letter and Free 6-letter modes, which you can play as often as you like. It is free and contains no advertisements, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.
The game works entirely without an internet connection and contains no online features. Your game data and settings are stored only on your device.
The service is provided “as is.” The daily word schedule, word pool, and features may change through updates.
Harfiyen is designed for people aged 13 and over. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
Harfiyen has no user accounts. Registration, sign-in, and authentication are not required. Your game progress, statistics, settings, and optional name are stored only on your device.
You can permanently delete all Harfiyen data on your device at any time through Settings → Reset Data. This action cannot be undone. Removing the app from your device also deletes the app data.
No content is visible to another user within the app. The optional name you choose is stored only on your device and may appear only on result cards that you choose to share. When you use the Share button, the card is passed to the operating system’s share menu; you choose the destination app.
Because your name may leave your device through sharing, it must comply with the following rules:
Names that violate the rules are not tolerated. Before being saved, the name you choose passes through a preventive filter that runs entirely on your device; a name found unsuitable may be rejected. The filter is not guaranteed to catch every possible violation.
Because the app does not display content from other users, it has no user reporting or blocking feature. For general feedback about the name rules or filter, email boran@avelasstudio.com.
The app’s name, design, code, and word compilation belong to the developer, Boran Güngör (Avelas Studio). A limited, non-transferable right to use them is granted for personal use; no right to copy, distribute, or create derivative works is granted.
You may share the result card generated through the Share button wherever you wish.
The service is provided “as is”; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages.
If this section conflicts with your rights under consumer law, the law prevails.
These terms may be updated. If there is a material change, acceptance will be requested again within the app; if you do not accept, you may stop using the app and delete the data on your device through Settings → Reset Data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer, your right to benefit from the mandatory protective provisions of the place where you are located remains reserved.
